If you follow us on social media, you may have seen that we released the new, year-round Super Session! If this is news to you… Surprise! We decided it was time to do away with the numbered series and stick to one flavor profile that fans could fall in love with. It has been a long time coming and we are so excited for you to get to know Super Session. Before we dive into what’s new, let’s take a trip down memory lane.
Where it all began
If you are new to Super Session, here’s what you should know. Each of the brands in the Super Session Series had the same malt base and specialty malts but would feature a different single hop variety. This method allowed the specific hop variety to shine.
These three Super Session brands started at the original Lawson’s Finest Brewery in Sean’s backyard in Warren, Vermont.
Amarillo, otherwise known as Super Session #2, was known for its citrusy flavors of lemon, lime and orange.
Idaho, AKA Super Session #7, had tasting notes of apricot, orange, and black tea.
Mosaic, Super Session #8, was a fan favorite with its berry aromas.

What to expect in the new Super Session
For the first time ever, we used two different hop varieties! Which ones, you ask? Well, it was a hard decision, but we decided to go with the proven fan favorite, Mosaic, and an up and coming hop, Lotus. In addition to Mosaic’s berry aromas, Lotus offers up notes of orange, vanilla, and tropical fruits. It’s refreshing and low in alcohol at 4.8% ABV. Super Session is available in 16oz 4 packs and 12oz 12 packs across our nine state distribution.
