This month’s Sunshine Fund recipient is OUR House of Central VT. OUR House is a nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe and supportive setting for child victims of physical and sexual abuse, their non-offending family members as well as adult survivors of sexual assault. So far this year, they have helped over 104 victims and their families.

OUR House works closely with the Dept. for Children and Families, Law Enforcement and the State’s Attorney’s Office along with other local organizations. Their combined goal is to ensure investigations whenever possible are conducted in a child friendly environment, with staff trained in the area of trauma. They have created a space that is friendly and inviting to all who enter their doors.
Sunshine Fund donations will help OUR House expand their facility to increase ADA accessibility, child proofing and privacy. Donations can be made via your online order or at our Waitsfield Taproom, Beer Garden and Retail Store.
