You might not have your toes in the sand just yet, but we have the next best thing — a beer cocktail that will instantly transport you to the summer beach setting you’ve been dreaming about all winter long. Using Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime, one of our specialty release beers that just hit the market, we concocted the oh-so-tasty “Scragarita” a few years back and now we’re hooked!
With Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime, we infuse our traditional Czech pilsner with salt and lime to create a crisp, slightly tart beer that screams summer on the beach. The cocktail can also be made with our original Scrag Mountain Pils.

Scragarita (made with Scrag Salt & Lime)
*Makes two drinks
- 2.5 oz. tequila blanco
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- .25 oz. simple syrup
- 4 oz. Scrag Mountain Pils Salt and Lime
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain over ice in two glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Scragarita (made with original Scrag Mountain Pils)
*Makes two drinks

- .25 oz. simple syrup
- .25 oz. salt solution
- 4 oz. Scrag Mountain Pils
- Salt Solution – 20g salt, 80g H2O
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain over ice in two glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge. Add Salt Solution and shake.
