It’s fall in the Mad River Valley. That means it’s the perfect time to complement that crisp air with a fresh beer in our Beer Garden while the leaves change. It’s a wonderful time of year to watch the sunset from the Appalachian Gap, cast a fly in the picturesque rivers or just grab a four-pack and take in the beauty that meanders through every nook and cranny of the Green Mountains. Sunshine Fund
Our October Sunshine Fund recipient is VT AMBUCS. The organization creates mobility and independence through a therapeutic bicycle program that matches Amtrykes (adapted bikes) with individuals of all abilities. They run an annual tryke fitting event in Waitsfield and raise funds throughout the year to give everyone the opportunity to ride a tryke regardless of their ability to pay. Since the volunteer-run group began in 2007, they have helped over 450 individuals throughout the state of VT get an Amtryke.
Research shows individuals with mobility challenges can be twice as sedentary as recommended and can have an increased risk for chronic diseases. Amtrykes has the power to change the narrative by improving physical and mental health. Owning an adapted tryke motivates individuals to get active, get outside and spend time with family and friends. Plus, it’s just pure fun. Donate in our Taproom or online and support the belief that all Vermonters deserve to experience the joy of riding a bike!

Kiwi IPA
Kiwi is a 8.1% ABV beer distributed throughout all nine states and our fans can’t stop talking about it. The unique blend of New Zealand-grown Nelson Sauvin and Pacific Jade hops lend a unique taste paying homage to the terroir of our hop-loving friends in the Southern Hemisphere.
Super Session #8 IPA
Super Session #8 is a crushable 4.8% ABV and features Mosaic hops — Sean Lawson’s favorite! The tropical, fruity and floral notes make this Super Session the perfect drink to hold onto the sunny days.
Scrag Mountain Pils
Our 4.8% Scrag Mountain Pils is a traditional Czech-style pilsner that is as crisp and clean as the fresh fall air. The name is a tribute to Scrag Mountain which sits atop the water source for all of Waitsfield. It’s the water that makes this brew taste so bright and pure.
Sip of Sunshine IPA
Our signature 8% ABV Sip of Sunshine is always hitting shelves in our bright yellow can! We like to think of it as a bright yellow beacon of beer calling your name from across the store. It boasts a juicy tropical fruit character with bright floral aromas and irresistible layers of hop flavor.
Little Sip IPA
Little Sip IPA is the 6.2% ABV little cousin to Sip of Sunshine. It’s packed with all the juicy, fruity, tropical flavor at a crushable 6.2% ABV. Each can features notes of grapefruit and pineapple for a perfectly balanced brew.

Chinooker’d IPA
Chinooker’d is our 6.5% ABV traditional American IPA recipe chock-full of Chinook hops, bursting with pine and citrus aromas. Firm bitterness and a balanced malt create waves of flavor for a pleasant, evergreen brew.
The Space in Between
The Space In Between is a 5% ABV hazy ale with a hint of tartness, brewed with oats and wheat and dry-hopped with Nelson and Galaxy varieties. The undefined Ale with a depth and a form unclear is brewed with heart.

Hopzilla IPA
8.7% ABV Hopzilla is a monster of an IPA loaded with high-alpha U.S. grown hops. It’s a brawny dry hopped ale ready to terrorize your taste buds and balance the bitterness with a malt backbone.
Fayston Maple Imperial Stout
Fayston Maple is our 10.1% ABV Imperial Stout brewed with loads of roasted and black malts and a hefty dose of Vermont maple syrup. The result is a rich and complex beer perfect for sipping by the fire or with a chocolately dessert.
Rum Barrel Aged Fayston Maple Imperial Stout
This 10.5% ABV bottled version of Fayston Maple is brewed with loads of roasted and black malts with a hefty dose of Vermont Maple Syrup then aged in Mad River Distillers PX Rum barrels from Warren, VT. Rum Barrel Aged Fayston Maple is the perfect brew to savor as the seasons change or give as a gift.

Ray Fest
Ray Fest is our Oktoberfest-style brew created by Ray Connery, our Cellar Operator. This marzën style Oktoberfest is deep gold in color showcasing authentic German malts. It features a mild sweetness with a slight richness that finishes dry and clean. Bready and slightly toasty notes are present with a subtle, gentle spiciness from the addition of noble hops. Grab a pretzel and toast to Ray with our new seasonal favorite!
Heilmannweisse
Heilmannweisse is coming back by popular demand. This is the brainchild of our Brewer, Chris Heilmann. It’s a hazy wheat beer brewed in the traditional Berliner style with piles of ripe peaches boasting a tart, dry finish.
