Focus on Community and Take Good Care
Through the Lawson’s Finest Social Impact Program (SIP), we are able to support and strengthen our communities by means of charitable giving. One of the ways we do this is our Good Brews for a Cause initiative.
Good Brews for a Cause are our limited time, small batch-collaborative beers that are made specifically to raise funds for the causes we care about. One of those specialty beers is Kingdom Trails IPA.
Proceeds from Kingdom Trails IPA go to the Kingdom Trails Association in the North East Kingdom of Vermont. With a 100+ mile bike trail network, the Kingdom Trails Association provides recreation and education opportunities by managing, maintaining, and building trails to foster the health of the community, surrounding environment, and regional economy.
This Summer, Kingdom Trails IPA sales raised $9,054 for the Kingdom Trails Association (KTA) beating last year’s total of $6,586!
We were also able to donate an additional $3,484 from the first round of Kingdom Trails IPA to Fo’Mo, the Moriah “Mo” Wilson Fund. This organization is in honor of Moriah Wilson who was a successful gravel racer from Vermont that inspired many people, including the youth, to pursue their dreams. With the help of others in the community, the Moriah Wilson Fund raised $140,986. Thank you to all who donated. A bike ride will be held in honor of Mo at a later date. Stay tuned for more information.
