Interested in splitboarding? Looking for your perfect setup? Want to learn more about safe access to the backcountry? From first-timers to seasoned split vets, we want to help you find the ideal ride, from the right gear for mellow on-resort morning laps to the finest quality big-mountain freeride shred tools, avy safety equipment, layering and mapping insights!
Emgee Events and Pico Mountain have teamed up to bring together the best brands in the industry with deep fleets of premium setups, mountain tools and avalanche safety equipment for YOU to test at the 5th Annual Pico Hiko Splitfest, AKA #PicoHiko. Splitboarding is a big, long-term investment; take advantage of a very affordable opportunity to try before you buy, and get on as many setups as your legs and lungs can muster from the best brands in the industry!
Date: Friday, February 25, 2022
- Check-in starts: 8:30AM at Pico base lodge
- Demo hours: 9:00AM start; return last setups by 3:30PM
- Raffle and Happy Hour on-site once demo riding concludes, benefiting Vermont Adaptive Sports.

Exhibitors: The exhibitors list for 2022 includes Jones Snowboards, Mammut, Never Summer Industries, Spark R&D, Burton Snowboards (in collaboration with Darkside), Weston Backcountry (in collaboration with Ranch Camp), with liquid refreshment support from Lawson’s Finest Liquids. Reps will provide complete splitboard demo setups, from boards to bindings & skins; even poles and packs if you need them! Your registration fee includes free equipment demo from all of our exhibitors, as well as 1 free raffle ticket.
Lawson’s Finest will be on site giving away free merch. We’ll also be buying all registered attendees a can of Sip of Sunshine or Little Sip IPA!
