Catamount Trail Association

Catamount Trail Association: The CTA maintains Vermont’s Catamount Trail and a world-class network of backcountry ski terrain. They work to conserve the mountain lands on which outdoor recreation depends, and run free programs introducing youth to cross country skiing, all in an effort to expand access to backcountry skiing to more Vermonters. The Mad River Valley Backcountry Coalition (MRVBC) is a local chapter of the CTA focused on creating managed backcountry ski zones and enhancing opportunities for wintertime recreation right here in the Mad River Valley.
