Super Sessions Mini-Grant Program
Lawson’s Finest Liquids is inviting individuals to apply to the Lawson’s Finest Super Sessions initiative to Show Up, Innovate & Play! This is the spirit we bring to everything we do – it’s how we brew our beer, do our work, relate to each other and try to make the world better. As part of our Social Impact Program, we aim to build impactful connections and strengthen communities while creating memorable experiences.
In that spirit, we are offering pint-sized grants for playful Super Sessions to bring people together in fun ways that build community anywhere Lawson’s Finest is distributed. For example, a group could organize a synchronized cannonball jump in the town pond to raise money for cancer research, or sponsor a bike parade and cook-out to honor local school teachers. Throughout the year, our employee-run Super Session Selection Squad will choose projects to each receive up to a $250 check that will launch a Super Session. Applications will be scored on several criteria including innovation, community-building, fun, and credibility.

Beer Releases
The ladies of Lawson’s Finest have been hard at work at our original brewery in Warren, VT. Together they’ve crafted Summit Sour, a dry-hopped sour beer infused with elderflower and chamomile for the Pink Boots Society Collaboration Brew Day. This special brew will be available in bottles to go and on draft at our taproom on March 8th, International Women’s Day! For every bottle and draft pour sold, Lawson’s Finest will be donating $1 to the Pink Boots Society, whose mission it is to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.
Wednesday, March 4th our Double Sunshine Ruby Red Grapefruit will be available in cans at our retail store. This special edition of our American Double IPA is made with ruby red grapefruit, adding an extra layer of mouth-watering, juicy, lush fruit character along with dank tropical aromas.
We will be releasing Fayston Maple Imperial Stout Aged in Mad River Distillers Rum Barrels later this month. It will be available in bottles in our retail store. Brewed with loads of roasted and black malts with a hefty dose of Vermont Maple Syrup, then aged in Mad River Distillers “Maple Cask Rum” charred oak barrels from Warren, VT, this special beer is sure to please!
March marks the return of our beloved Triple Play IPA! A trifecta of hop varieties (Citra, Simcoe & Amarillo) delivers a symphony of juicy fruit-forward hop flavors and a delightful bouquet of aromas. Winner of Brewing News National IPA Championship (2011), there is simply ‘no batter beer’!
Charitable Giving Program
Lawson’s Finest has chosen to pay our staff living wages and generous benefits. There is no tip obligation in the taproom. However, if guests choose to leave a donation, 100% will be given to local charitable endeavors through our Sunshine Fund.
Since we opened our Waitsfield brewery, taproom and retail store in October 2018, taproom guests have generously donated over $400,000 to more than 36 Vermont-based non-profit organizations!
March 1st-15th our taproom donations will be given to Vermont Women’s Fund. Their mission is to support the advancement, self-sufficiency, and economic and social equality of Vermont women and girls. The Women’s Fund makes grants to promote ideas and support programs which focus on the needs of women and girls in this state, and to increase public awareness of these needs.

Join us at Sugarbush for a week-long Super Sessions “session” ski event full of rad events and things to do for skiers and riders through March 7th!
We’re kicking it off with a branded Lawson’s Finest Terrain Park at Mt. Ellen that will be open for the week. Enjoy the opportunity to see pros from around the country and New England at Sugarbush Parks. The Lawson’s Finest park will remain open all week except for during two athlete filming sessions. The closing weekend Super Session Bash will be held on Saturday 3/7/20 at Green Mountain Lounge. Stop by for beer specials, gear giveaways, enter to win giveaways, live music, scavenger hunts, athlete meet and greets and on March 7th a trailer of some of the filming caught during the week will be shown. During the week the Lawson’s Finest crew will be having some fun with on-mountain, taproom and social media giveaways.
