Spreading the Little Sip IPA Love!
It’s the news Lawson’s Finest Liquids fans outside of Vermont have been waiting for, and we’re beyond excited to share that our newest year-round beer, Little Sip IPA, will be making its way to our full nine-state distribution territory in March!
Little cousin to Lawson’s Finest flagship beer Sip of Sunshine IPA, Little Sip IPA has a juicy, fruit-forward character layered with tropical hop flavors and bright floral aromas. Notes of grapefruit and pineapple complement this delectably balanced beer, with a crushable 6.2% ABV.
In the months ahead, the Lawson’s Finest team will be engaging with fans via live online tastings, social media photo contests, a virtual scavenger hunt and many other unique opportunities to win Little Sip IPA prizes and learn more about Little Sip IPA. More details will be announced on our website and social media in the coming weeks, and you can sign up for the Lawson’s Finest newsletter for the latest news and updates to be sent directly to you.
Little Sip IPA will be available in the full distribution territory in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans beginning March 1st at select retail accounts in VT, NH, ME, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ and PA. Local store availability can be found on our website via the Beer Finder on the Where to Buy page.
Drive-Thru Retail Store Updates
Our Drive-Thru Retail Store is open from 11am-7pm Sunday – Thursday and 11am-8pm on Friday & Saturday.
Our family style meals were a big hit last month, and we’re offering them up again in February! Available for pick-up on Friday and Saturday nights, you can order them online and grab them at our drive-thru along with some of your favorite Lawson’s Finest brews for the perfect cozy night in at home!
Feb 5-6:
Classic Shepherd’s Pie (Serves four)
Gaylord Farm organic beef sautéed with onion and garlic under a layer of cream style corn and topped with crazy smooth mashed potatoes. No prep, just pop in your oven for 40 mins until slightly browned on top. Comes with buttermilk maple biscuits, a crisp spring salad with greens, cherry tomato, carrots, cucumber and our Maple Nipple spent grain vinaigrette with house made Red Hen Bakery croutons.
Feb 12-13:
Caprese Mac and Cheese (Serves four)
Orecchiette Pasta in a creamy Cabot cheddar and Mt Mansfield Creamery Havarti cheese blend with cherry tomatoes and housemade pesto. Topped with thin sliced tomatoes and citrus bread crumbs baked until bubbly and golden brown. Served par-baked with finishing instructions. Comes with homemade bread and a green salad with carrots, tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onion, and housemade Red Hen Bakery croutons tossed in our Maple Nipple spent grain vinaigrette.
Feb 19-20:
Chicken Pot Pie (Serves four)
A classic filling of shredded chicken with peas and carrots in gravy, topped with homemade buttermilk biscuits. Pop in your oven for 40 mins. Comes with Red Hen Bakery baguette and a crisp spring salad with greens, cherry tomato, carrots, cucumber and our Maple Nipple spent grain vinaigrette with house made Red Hen Bakery croutons.
Feb 26-27:
Broccoli and Sundried Tomato Alfredo (Serves four)
Farfalle pasta tossed in a creamy house made alfredo sauce with broccoli and sundried tomato. Pop in your oven for 40 mins until bubbly. Comes with Red Hen baguette and a crisp spring salad with greens, cherry tomato, carrots, cucumber and our Maple Nipple spent grain vinaigrette with house made Red Hen Bakery croutons.
We’ve also added some tasty new items to our to-go food menu, including the Rhapsody Wrap, the Meatball Mini, and the Babette’s Table Brat Bun, made with bratwurst braised in Scrag Mountain Pilsner topped with caramelized onions and Maple Nipple whole grain mustard. They all pair perfectly with your favorite Lawson’s Finest brews, and can be ordered online for pick-up seven days a week!

And if you’re looking for something special for someone in your life for Valentine’s Day (or any day, really!), you can’t go wrong with the Lawson’s Finest Merch Grab Bags. Offered in Women’s S-XL and Men’s S-2XL, each box contains a variation of six items ranging from sweatshirts, fleeces, t-shirts, glassware, hats, pins, stickers and more!
Beer Releases
Sugarhouse IPA is back! Inspired by the first recipe crafted in 2008 at our home-based nanobrewery in Warren, VT, this hop-forward American IPA celebrates the “Sugarhouse Brewery” that is now our Wizard’s Workshop for experiments and taproom-only specials. Coming in at 6.2% ABV, it’s the perfect refreshment after a day on the slopes and is available in 16oz. 4-packs at our drive-thru and at select retail accounts in Vermont.
After the tremendous fan response to its original release in 2020, we’re bringing back this instant classic in mid-February – Triple Sunshine aged in tequila barrels! Sourced directly from the Jalisco region of Mexico, these barrels bring notes of vanilla and coconut to this exquisite tropical delight.
Toward the end of the month, we’ll welcome the annual release of a fan and staff favorite, Double Sunshine Ruby Red Grapefruit. This special edition of our American Double IPA is made with ruby red grapefruit, adding an extra layer of mouth-watering, juicy, lush fruit character along with dank tropical aromas.
Events
Our brand ambassador Chuck will be out and about during the month of February bringing the sunshine and smiles everywhere he goes! On Sunday, February 7th, you can find Chuck at Ascutney Outdoors supporting their fundraiser and giving out Lawson’s Finest swag. Plus, Brownsville Butcher and Pantry will be offering delicious food to enjoy while you’re quenching your thirst with a Lawson’s Finest IPA!
And on Saturday, February 13th, swing by Edson Hill XC in Stowe, VT for some outdoor fun and look for the sunshine! Chuck will be on site enjoying the trails and spreading the Lawson’s Finest love!

Social Impact Program (SIP)
Lawson’s Finest has selected The Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) as the Sunshine Fund recipient for the month of February. KBF focuses mainly on helping people with spinal cord injuries be active, and they are also a national leader in ski racing safety. Recently they have worked with the Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS) and the entire alpine ski racing community to address the increase in laceration injuries in ski racing. KBF has brought the national “Stop the Bleed” movement to the sport, distributing emergency response supplies and providing trainings. Their next step will be to provide education and advocacy on proper ski care to minimize risk, and apparel to protect junior athletes including those on the hill everyday in Vermont’s Mad River Valley. Sunshine Fund donations will be used to provide education and support to GMVS students in increasing their own personal safety and that of the sport. Lawson’s Finest will match every donation dollar for dollar to the Sunshine Fund, up to $5,000.

In addition to our weekly deliveries of the freshest Sip of Sunshine, we’ll be rolling out Super Session #2 for one more month before we introduce another Super Session variety at stores near you in our distribution territory of VT, NH, MA, ME, CT, RI, NY, NJ and PA.
