Happy New Year!
It’s 2022 and that means a whole new calendar of brews are coming your way. The lineup is looking bright as always and ready to be cracked open, toasting to the hope a new year can bring.
We start the year strong with the distribution of Hopzilla IPA followed by Double Sunshine IPA with Ruby Red Grapefruit in time for spring. The summer will feature everyone’s favorite, Scrag Mountain Pils with Salt and Lime and Hopcelot IPA for our phans. Fall brings Big Hoppy IPA and a special Barrel Aged bottle release. We can’t wait for the year to come and we’re so grateful to our fans who make us beyond excited for 2022.
Sunshine Fund
We are thrilled to kick off 2022 by supporting two amazing organizations through the Sunshine Fund! Donations are accepted in our Taproom or our online store.
Sunshine Fund donations from January 1-15 will benefit Good Samaritan Haven and their new service-enriched emergency housing in Berlin.
In addition to a bed and shelter, Good Samaritan Haven provides their vulnerable guests with nearby services to meet their specific situation and help them transition into stable housing. The organization cultivates a safe and orderly environment with needed resources like food, clothing, toiletries and access to laundry facilities. Good Samaritan Haven also provides housing case management, street outreach, motel-based support services, COVID testing and vaccination clinics, access to health care and many more services to people experiencing homelessness in Washington County.
January 16-31, Sunshine Fund donations will support Vermont Land Trust’s Hinesburg Town Forest Management Fund.
A Management Fund is important for any public space, but especially for one as large as the Hinesburg Town Forest (1,125 acres). The forest was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016 as a good example of a municipally managed forest in the state of Vermont. Mountain bikers and other outdoor enthusiasts frequent the area. This dedicated Fund is used to cover costs like trail work, erosion control measures, parking lot maintenance and upgrades, and more.
DistroBREWtion
These brews will be distributed to our nine states (VT, CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI).
Hopzilla is hitting our 9-state distribution territory with big, bold, hoppy flavor. This double IPA is loaded with high-alpha U.S. grown hops. It’s a brawny dry-hopped ale that will terrorize your taste buds yet has enough malt backbone to balance the fierce bitterness.
Nothing quite complements that crisp, winter air like a can of Scrag Mountain Pils. The clean pilsner is inspired by the traditional Czech Pilsner style. The name is a tribute to Waitsfield’s town water source and the aquifer deep beneath Scrag Mountain that renders the Finest Liquids.
Sip of Sunshine is the bright yellow can our fans know and love. It’s a lupulin-laden India Pale Ale packed with juicy tropical fruit character, bright floral aromas and delectable layers of hop flavor.
Little Sip IPA is the crushable cousin of Sip of Sunshine. It features the bright, tropical flavors you expect from the Sunshine Family with a 6.2% ABV. Each can features notes of grapefruit and pineapple for a delectably balanced brew.
Super Session #4 features full malt flavor and assertive hop character with copious additions of Centennial hops late in the kettle and dry hopping.
Vermont Selections
These brews will be distributed throughout Vermont.
Brave Little State Pale Ale 5% ABV
Brave Little State Pale Ale is our newest Good Brews for a Cause and Vermont can’t get enough! It’s a 5% ABV hazy, juicy Pale Ale with a soft mouthfeel that explodes with bountiful aromas of melon and berries. The Vermont-grown ingredients inside each can embody the incredible spirit of the Green Mountain State. As a Good Brews for a Cause through our Social Impact Program, a portion of Brave Little State sales will be donated to support VPR’s mission and fuel independent journalism.
Taproom only
These brews will be featured in the Taproom this month.
The Space In Between Blood Orange
This special version of The Space In Between is bursting with juicy notes of blood orange. It’s a hazy brew that lives in between styles and is brewed with oats and wheat, features a hint of tartness and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops.
Our biggest phans know Hopcelot IPA is inspired by a dreamy combination of music, hops and beer. Celebrate with us as we revel in the glory of 8 varieties of hops from around the world to create an intricate flavor and delight your senses!
